The World Snooker Championships asked to be pitched a new set of television opening titles for the 2020 tournament. The challenge was to create a visual narrative that would combine the history along with the forward looking ideals of the competition. The the art style was needed to combine two points and appeal across an all age demographic. The two dimensional wireframe communicates the nostalgia of hand created title sequences from the late 20th century. Whilst the cel-shaded 3D objects draw in new viewers by creating a point of difference visually to the ubiquity of CGI sports titles.
